Ephesians 5: 15-20

15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. 18 Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, 19 singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. 20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I think if our kingdom calling is at the front of our mind.. we would not do some of the things we do.. I think we need to constantly be thinking of how our actions might affect our ministry or our witness... ridiculous words that come from our mouths should be silenced... ridiculous actions should be stopped... we should be singing praises to God at all times... I try to ask God nothing for myself... I try to just ask God to use me to His glory... and I pray for others that I see in my mind's eye.. all while singing in my heart about God's goodness to me...

imagine... if we ruin our witness through words or through careless actions... that may cause someone that we were supposed to affect to never be saved.. or maybe to never change their lives... be ye ever mindful....

previously.. the scripture I quoted in my spirit throughout the day was "walk worthy of the calling upon your life" but this weekend.. God pointed out something potentially wrong in my spirit if I am not careful and changed my scripture... now I quote throughout the day "pride goes before destruction... humility will bring honor..."
I desire honor.. not destruction...
