today is mother's day... today is a sad day for my heart...
I have a son.. who is not with me on this day...
I have a daughter who is with me today...
while I am SO thankful for the daughter who is with me.. the one who does the right thing most of the time.. the one who is there for me.. who does things for me...
I am also so sad about the one who is lost...
the story of the prodigal son is very close to my soul... it is my son who has chosen to forget all that he was taught growing up and instead is chasing the ways of the world... the bible tells us that when a shepherd has 100 sheep.. and 1 is lost.. the shepherd will leave the 99 to go and find the lost 1...
I pray that God is the Great Shepherd is searching for my 1 lost son... daily... and I pray that He will find him.. and bring him home.. even if never with me... at least with the Great Shepherd...
so to all who have a wayward child.. I say to you.. God is the Lover of the lost soul.. and we can continue to be faithful to God and know that God will be faithful to us in saving our lost children... and we thank Him oh so much for the ones that are still here.. still righteous.. in Jesus name... amen.amen.amen.
